Hey peeps.
I'm just loving and enjoying my time here in the mish. I got my last companion this Tuesday, his name's Elder Victor from Fortaleza Brazil. He's super rad. I forgot to take a pic with him earlier so here's one that we took right now on the cell phone :p
People ask me if I am "trunky" (thinking about home excessively so that it distracts you from the work). I have to admit that when I try to think about home I don't remember a whole lot... I can't get trunky even if I wanted to!! What sometimes distracts me form the work though is Brazilian barbecue... Going home will probably be similar to the feeling when we go back to God's presence, a smack to the face of "I feel like I've lived a whole life here before!!!"
Anyway, I love the people here in my area so much. It's a really funny/kooky ward. Elder's quorum class always consists of people standing to passionately express their feelings and opinions and never, ever staying on topic. But the people here have such beautiful hearts and intentions.
I know that God exists. I can certainly say that I've seen unbelievable miracles, but what truly serves as a constant reminder of the fact the God is there and loves me is the incomparable feeling of love and fulfillment that I am able to feel when I seek it - obeying and serving.
Love you all!
Elder George
