I hope you all had a great 2016! 2016 was the best year of my life!!!
Here's the update.
Three weeks ago we had had transfers, and we all went to Brasilia to get our new companions as well as have some Christmas fun! I got a new greenie companion. Elder Silva is his name. He lives in São Paulo but is from the Bahia. He is the perfect companion but is super shy in the street! I am confident the mission will make all the difference with that hahaha! On my first day, my trainer made me teach in the front of bus full of people. Luckily I am not that cruel.
Those six missionaries who look a little bit too happy are the Cristalina District. They are great.
The branch had a Christmas dinner. It was fun and we missionaries put on a skit about Samuel the Lamanite it was fun!
I got a herva matte cup as my secret santa gift. There were many big mangos.
We had an investigator family come to the dinner and they liked it a lot. They invited us over for Xmas lunch (barbecue of course) and they decorated the table with pass a-long cards hahaha!
Santa doesn't come at night here. He rides through the city giving out presents during the day on a fire truck.
I can now say as well that I have taken Brazilian Barbecue lessons at every restaurant in the city.
Love you all so much!!!!
